  31. After a few dire observations and predictions, and a tantalizing tale of
  32. adventure in the Legal Cesspools, the gist of the story is that The Uniform
  33. Commercial Code has replaced Common Law as the legal system in The United
  34. States of America.  Basically, any law or precedent prior to 1938 (such as The
  35. Constitution of The United States of America) is irrelevant.  You may be able
  36. to prevent persecution under the newlaw by retaining your rights to be tried
  37. under Common Law and thus exposing the differences.
